Able Arts provides a holistic approach, combining private dance and occupational therapy services to help our clients live their lives to the fullest physically, cognitively, emotionally and socially.
Our purpose is to provide a creative outlet for anyone who wants it – especially those who may not be able to join classes in a traditional setting. We want to serve Middle Tennessee in an inclusive capacity by providing an adapted and inclusive perspective to dance. Through our mobile services, we can bring the magic of dance to everyone, helping them meet therapeutic goals and thrive in their everyday lives!
We bring dance to YOU, providing individual classes through a therapeutic lens that builds physical, emotional, cognitive, and social skills!
We offer private, in-home OT services through dance-based interventions that build strength, balance, coordination, social skills & confidence.
Be the first to know when registration opens for semi-private dance sessions, music classes, and art classes all designed to promote social interaction and foster relationships.
"We also spend so many hours doing therapy and missing out on casual fun, we are grateful for this inclusive opportunity that combines both!!"
Originally from Indianapolis, I moved to Nashville more than a decade ago to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy. After earning two degrees at Belmont University – a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Dance in 2015 and a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) in 2018 – I founded Able Arts Therapy. I’m passionate about working individually with clients, helping them meet their therapeutic goals through dance. My desire is to provide a safe and enjoyable space for children and adults alike to participate in the activities they love most!
